The Jr. 3SSB West Open Qualifier brought boys’ grassroots programs to Anaheim and Ladera Ranch, California, on October 3–4, 2026.
Myan Walker earned 14U Select Boost MVP honors as AVAC Komplex Sports Black/JB Elite captured the championship. DeAndre Fields led Dubs Elite to the 13U Select title, Kasen Jones anchored All Covered Prospects’ 12U Select championship run, and Cole Evans helped 5onfive Basketball secure the 11U Select crown.

14U Select Boost
AVAC Komplex Sports Black/JB Elite defeated Dubs Elite 54–41 to capture the championship. Braedon Holts led the champions with 13 points, while Myan Walker added 11 points and James Ayers contributed eight points and three rebounds. Draylan Mcclinton led Dubs Elite with a game-high 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Walker earned division MVP honors after averaging 13.6 points throughout the tournament. Holts received First Team recognition with averages of 13.2 points and 3.8 rebounds. Dubs Elite’s DeSean Jones averaged 16.8 points, 3.0 assists and 3.2 steals, while Mcclinton contributed 16.0 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.

Walker created scoring opportunities off the dribble with controlled footwork, balance and confident pull-up shooting. His perimeter range complemented his ability to attack the paint, while his composed decision-making helped him balance scoring with creating opportunities for teammates. He applied full-court pressure and brought consistent on-ball intensity, pairing his offensive production with defensive engagement to earn 14U Select Boost MVP honors at the Jr. 3SSB West Open Qualifier.
All-Tournament First Team:
- Braedon Holts — AVAC Komplex Sports Black/JB Elite — 13.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 1.2 APG
Holts used his size and length to create opportunities in the paint, sealing defenders and finishing through traffic with soft touch. He ran the floor hard, stayed active without the ball and pursued rebounds to generate second-chance opportunities. His finishing, rebounding and consistent effort helped AVAC Komplex Sports Black/JB Elite capture the championship and earned him 14U Select Boost All-Tournament First Team honors.

Jones balanced scoring and distribution with a composed approach, finding teammates while threatening defenses with perimeter shooting, mid-range touch and finishes in the paint. His court vision and decision-making helped him organize the offense against pressure, while his lateral quickness and anticipation disrupted opposing guards. His offensive versatility and defensive activity helped Dubs Elite reach the championship game and earned him 14U Select Boost All-Tournament First Team honors.

McClinton established deep position in the paint, using his strength and footwork to create leverage and finish through contact. He tracked missed shots, pursued rebounds on both ends and used his physical presence to contest interior attempts and limit second-chance opportunities. His consistent scoring in the paint and control of the glass helped Dubs Elite reach the championship game and earned him 14U Select Boost All-Tournament First Team honors.

Team Telfair overcame a 23-point deficit to defeat Team Stack Days Marshall 56–52 and capture the championship. Joshua Williams led Telfair with 19 points, four rebounds and three assists, while Samuel Williams Jr. added 14 points and six rebounds. Kamori Jones contributed 13 points, four rebounds and two assists, and Telfair converted 15 free throws. Devin Breazeale led Stack Days with a game-high 24 points, alongside nine rebounds and five assists.
Jones earned division MVP honors after averaging 11.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Breazeale received First Team recognition with averages of 13.4 points and 3.8 rebounds, while fellow First Team selection Noel Jimenez averaged a double-double with 15.0 points and 10.0 rebounds.

CA Gold overcame an eight-point deficit to defeat SB Select 33–32 and capture the championship. Jackson Lin led CA Gold with 10 points, while Kahama Wainwright El II added nine points. Zander Boykin paced SB Select with 11 points, and Logan Clark contributed eight points. CA Gold converted eight free throws to SB Select’s five, providing a valuable edge in the one-point finish.
Wainwright earned division MVP honors after averaging 10.6 points and 1.6 made three-pointers per game. Teammate Diwa Stitt received First Team recognition with averages of 9.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists, while Clark averaged 10.2 points and 3.4 rebounds.

Cameron T Brown added 14 points and three assists, while Benjamin Duarte contributed nine points and two assists.
Sanders earned MVP honors after averaging 13.2 points, 2.6 assists and 3.2 steals. Brown received First Team recognition with tournament averages of 13.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.4 steals, while Up Next’s Braeden Hans averaged 11.5 points and 4.0 rebounds.
