Jr. 3SSB Girls National Championship Recap
June 12-14, 2026 | Chicago, Illinois
The Jr. 3SSB Girls National Championship brought together many of the nation’s top youth girls basketball programs for a championship weekend in Chicago. ETG (NE), OPS (IN), and AVAC Golden Girls (CA) emerged as Gold Division National Champions behind standout performances from tournament MVPs Isadora Hahn, Bristol Morris, and Payton Hendrickson-Arlington.

Creates offense with pace and confidence, attacks openings in transition, and consistently makes the right read as a playmaker. Defensively, her activity level and instincts generate extra possessions while her energy often shifts momentum in key stretches.
Laila Hayes (Rise and Reign, MO) — 12.3 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.8 APG
True point guard with tight handle, poise under pressure, and the ability to create clean looks for everyone around her. She controls the offense, makes sound decisions with the ball, and is one of the best shooters on the floor with range that stretches defenses.
Madison Mouton (Fam United Louisiana Rudy, LA) — 10.4 PPG, 3.6 RPG
Physical interior presence with a strong motor, soft touch around the rim, and the ability to establish deep position in the paint. Mouton finishes through contact, protects the rim with good timing, and rebounds with purpose on both ends while also showing flashes of long-term versatility with her handle and ability to start the break.
Madison Waldo (MN Metro Stars, MN) — 11.2 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 1.3 APG
Strong, competitive guard who plays through contact and brings consistent physicality on both ends. Waldo can pressure the paint, finish with strength, and is a real perimeter threat with clean shooting mechanics and range that forces defenders to stay attached. Her ability to score from the arc opens up driving lanes and makes her tougher to contain.

Taya Willemsen (Dropoff Elite, CAN) — 11.4 PPG, 11.4 RPG, 2.0 SPG, 1.4 BPG
Unique long-term prospect with elite size, mobility, and developing skill. Willemsen runs the floor exceptionally well for her size, establishes deep position in the paint, and finishes with touch around the basket. What separates her is the ability to impact the game both inside and out, showing the potential to stretch defenses while still controlling the glass and protecting the rim.
Defensively, she uses her length effectively as a shot blocker and rebounder, consistently changing possessions with her presence around the painted area.

Her handle and burst allow her to break down defenders and put constant pressure on the defense.
On the other end, she sets the tone as a relentless point-of-attack defender, using her quickness and competitive edge to disrupt ball handlers, generate turnovers, and impact winning plays. She also rebounds well for her position and consistently plays with a motor that stands out.

Playing up an age division, Clark consistently showed why she is regarded as one of the top young guards in the country. She combines advanced court vision, size, and poise to control the game, making high-level reads while creating opportunities for herself and teammates. Her ability to handle pressure, play through contact, and impact winning on both ends stood out throughout the event.

Skilled two-way guard with a smooth shooting profile and strong feel for the game. Werner spaces the floor with reliable range, can rise into a fluid pull-up jumper, and makes smart decisions on when to score or move the ball. Strong, disciplined guard with good positional size, feel, and competitive grit. Bell does a lot of the winning work – rebounds from the guard spot, keeps possessions alive, and plays with the poise and toughness that coaches trust in big moments.

One of the top shooters in the gym with deep range, quick confidence, and a high-energy motor. Giometti spaces the floor at a high level, knocks down shots off the catch and in transition, and uses her shooting gravity to open up looks for teammates.
