Berlucchi was instrumental in La Costa Canyon’s championship run, consistently producing as a scorer while contributing on the glass.  A plug and play type of player that seems to have the skills & IQ to play in different situations. His efficiency, versatility, and ability to impact winning throughout the weekend earned him Varsity Division MVP honors.

First Team All-Tournament

Aaron Wilson ‘29 (LA Habra HS) — 21.0 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 3.3 APG, 6.0 SPG

Wilson is a blur in the open floor.  Car quick guard that keeps his foot on the gas and paces his La Habra team.

Austin Brown (Coronado HS) — 17.5 PPG, 2.8 APG, 3.3 3PM

Derek Soloway (LA Habra HS) — 19.0 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 3.3 APG

Josiah Wilson ‘28 (Justin Garza HS) — 22.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 4.3 APG, 0.8 BPG

Another Central California product turned some heads at Cali Live Preview. Physical guard that is the puppeteer of Garza’s offensive engine. Plays with a tempo & comfort that can make things go, but is explosive when his moments come

Kyle O’Connor Jr. ‘30 (Madison Warhawks) — 23.5 PPG, 4.8 FGM Per Game

One of the early favorites to win San Diego freshman of the year is the incoming Madison frosh. He didn’t disappoint in his debut. A poised combo guard with savvy & control beyond his years.

Tariq Johnson (Servite HS Black) — 22.5 PPG, 2.0 APG, 2.3 3PM

Tyler David Johnson ‘29 (Rancho Bernardo HS) — 16.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 1.0 BPG

A guy to keep an eye on as he transitions through his upperclassmen years. A crafty guard within the flow of the offense that also made plays defensively that added to the equation.

Dylan Crawford (Diamond Bar HS) — 6.7 PPG

Isaac Gillison ‘28 (Norco HS) — 13.3 PPG

Love the attack that Gillison can play with on both ends. Thrives in getting up on ball handlers & getting the defense on their heels. 94 feet speed that can get into the painted area for plays. One to monitor for Coach Rahmell Greene.

Josiah Jackson ‘29 (Atascadero HS) — 16.3 PPG, 13.3 RPG, 3.0 BPG

One of the revelations at Cali Live Preview was the play of the Central California product. One of the more physically imposing players at the event  that is light on his feet and is advanced in some ways for his age. One to monitor closely.
