Anaheim, CA | August 8–9, 2026
The Ballislife All-American High School Camp brought together a talented collection of prospects in OGP Anaheim for two days of high-level competition. Players from multiple high school classes had the opportunity to compete, showcase their skill sets and make their mark in front of evaluators throughout the weekend.
Scope Scouting was on hand to evaluate the action, with the camp producing standout individual performances across both the Upperclassmen and Underclassmen divisions.
Kavan Bowden and Major Smith earned King of the Court honors, while several other prospects put together impressive weekends. Here are Scope Scouting’s Outstanding Performers and award winners from the Ballislife All-American High School Camp.
2026-2028 Outstanding Performers
Dylan McGhee | 6’9″ | 2026
Stats: 13.3 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 3.0 BPG
McGhee brings an intriguing combination of size, skill and two-way versatility. Offensively, he can attack from the perimeter, create off the dribble and finish around the basket, giving him the flexibility to impact possessions with or without the ball. Defensively, his length and athleticism allow him to protect the rim, defend multiple spots and make plays outside of his immediate matchup. McGhee’s physical tools and developing perimeter skill set give him significant versatility and upside.
Garang Baak | 6’9″ | 2027
Stats: 9.0 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 1.5 APG, 1.3 BPG
Baak is a physical interior presence who consistently found ways to impact possessions around the basket. He plays with a strong motor, attacks the glass and uses his size to generate cleanup opportunities and second-chance finishes. His activity also translates defensively, where his length gives him the ability to challenge shots around the rim. Baak’s combination of size, rebounding and effort makes him a prospect worth continuing to monitor.
Jordan Valentine | 6’9″ | 2028
Stats: 21.0 PPG, 10.3 RPG, 1.0 BPG
Valentine was one of the more intriguing long-term prospects at the camp, combining advanced size with skill and athleticism. He showed flashes of high-level play throughout the weekend, producing around the basket while using his length and physical tools to control the glass. Valentine is still developing, but the foundation is impressive. As his overall skill set continues to expand, his combination of size, length and athleticism gives him considerable upside.
Kavan Bowden | 6’3″ | 2027
King of the Court
Stats: 22.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 1.8 APG
Bowden was one of the camp’s premier scoring guards and backed it up by earning King of the Court honors. He plays with a confident scorer’s mentality and showed the ability to generate offense from multiple areas of the floor. His perimeter shot-making is a defining part of his game, but Bowden also has the ability to create off the dribble and put pressure on a defense. His combination of confidence, scoring instincts and shot-making made him one of the most difficult guards to contain throughout the weekend.
Kevin Singleton | 6’4″ | 2026
Stats: 18.5 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 2.5 APG, 1.3 SPG
Singleton is a crafty scorer with good size for a ball handler and showed the versatility to impact the game in several ways. He was comfortable initiating offense, bringing the ball up the floor and creating for teammates, but could also take matters into his own hands as a scorer. Singleton uses his size well around the basket and contributed at a high level on the glass. His combination of size, ball skill and scoring creativity made him a productive presence throughout camp.
Mark Gerges | 6’3″ | 2028
Stats: 23.3 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 1.5 SPG
Gerges was one of the camp’s most aggressive scorers, consistently hunting opportunities to put pressure on the defense. He can heat up quickly from the perimeter and plays with considerable confidence as a shot-maker. Gerges also showed creativity around the basket, adjusting his finishes and finding different angles when attacking the rim. His scoring mentality and ability to generate points in different ways stood out throughout the weekend.
Myles Mittelsteadt | 6’8″ | 2026
Stats: 10.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 2.5 APG
Mittelsteadt brings legitimate size and an established ability to impact the game around the basket. He uses his length well on the glass, pursues rebounds and provides a physical presence in the painted area. Offensively, he showed that he can be more than a complementary interior option, with the ability to finish possessions and generate production when opportunities come his way. His rebounding and interior presence give him a strong foundation on both ends.
Nathan Moussa | 6’11” | 2027
Stats: 13.0 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 1.3 BPG
Moussa provides legitimate rim protection with his combination of size and length, giving opponents a significant obstacle around the painted area. What makes his profile particularly intriguing is the developing skill away from the basket. He showed the ability to step outside, knock down shots and provide some floor-spacing value offensively. As his instincts and overall skill set continue to develop, Moussa’s size, rim protection and emerging perimeter game give him an intriguing long-term ceiling.
Roman Esparza | 6’0″ | 2028
Stats: 12.0 PPG, 4.0 APG, 3.0 RPG, 2.0 3PM
Esparza provided productive guard play during his time on the floor, balancing scoring with the ability to create opportunities for teammates. He averaged 4.0 assists while also providing perimeter shot-making, giving him multiple ways to influence the offense. His ability to handle creation responsibilities while remaining a scoring threat helped him stand out among the upperclass group.
Sloane Harris | 6’1″ | 2027
Stats: 25.5 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 3.3 APG, 1.3 SPG
Harris was one of the most productive offensive players in the entire camp, averaging 25.5 points while also contributing as a rebounder and playmaker. He plays with a high basketball IQ and consistently finds ways to impact winning possessions. Harris anticipates plays well, attacks the glass with purpose and has a natural understanding of where the ball is going. Add his ability to score at a high level, and Harris put together one of the strongest all-around weekends in Anaheim.
2029-30 Outstanding Performers
Aden Finzel | 6’5″ | 2029
Stats: 20.3 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 3.5 3PM
Finzel is a skilled perimeter forward with the ability to stretch the floor at a high level. He knocked down 3.5 three-pointers per game while averaging better than 20 points, forcing defenses to account for him well beyond the painted area. Finzel is more than a stationary shooter, showing the ability to put the ball on the floor and create when defenders run him off the line. His length also gives him defensive upside and allows him to disrupt possessions on the other end.
Carlos Galvan | 6’5″ | 2029
Stats: 23.8 PPG, 11.5 RPG, 3.8 APG, 3.0 SPG, 1.5 BPG
Galvan put together one of the camp’s most complete statistical performances, producing at a high level across nearly every category. He is an elite competitor who plays with a high motor and consistently impacts the game with his energy and physicality. Galvan showed impressive athleticism finishing above the rim and used that same explosiveness to dominate stretches on the glass. His improving perimeter shooting adds another dimension to an already versatile profile, making him one of the more impressive young prospects from the weekend.
Cooper Janis | 6’2″ | 2029
Stats: 19.8 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 2.5 APG, 3.5 3PM
Janis is a high-IQ perimeter scorer with a quick release who consistently provided floor-spacing value. He averaged 3.5 made three-pointers per game but also showed the ability to recognize poor closeouts and attack them rather than settling for contested jumpers. Around the basket, Janis plays with craft, using changes of pace, angles and touch to finish in traffic. His shooting ability combined with his feel makes him a difficult cover on the perimeter.
David Torres Jr. | 6’2″ | 2029
Stats: 14.0 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 2.5 APG
Torres is a long, fluid guard with a smooth and quick shooting release. He showed the ability to get to his preferred spots throughout camp and capitalize when opportunities presented themselves. His length gives him additional versatility in the backcourt, while his shooting mechanics allow him to get into his shot efficiently. Torres’ combination of size, fluidity and perimeter shot-making gives him an intriguing foundation at the guard position.
Donnell Meekins | 6’3″ | 2029
Stats: 20.0 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 1.5 SPG
Meekins is a physical and versatile young prospect who showed the ability to consistently produce offensively. He attacks the basket with purpose, plays through contact and uses his strength to create advantages around the painted area. Meekins also impacts possessions on the glass and competes defensively with a strong motor. As his perimeter skill set and overall guard game continue to expand, he has the tools to become an increasingly difficult matchup.
Elijah Warren | 5’10” | 2029
Stats: 18.0 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 1.0 APG, 1.0 SPG
Warren is a quick downhill scoring guard who consistently puts pressure on defenses with his ability to attack the rim. He plays with excellent pace and control, showing a good understanding of when to attack and when to create for teammates. Warren sees the floor well and can make plays when the defense collapses, while also providing value away from the ball as a catch-and-shoot threat. His ability to impact the game both with and without the ball gives him a versatile offensive profile.
Joseph Mariles-Jara | 6’4″ | 2028
Stats: 21.0 PPG, 11.3 RPG, 6.8 APG, 2.3 SPG
Mariles-Jara delivered one of the most versatile performances at the camp, averaging a double-double while also creating nearly seven assists per game. His shooting is an appealing part of his offensive profile, as he is comfortable operating off the ball and knocking down catch-and-shoot opportunities. What separates him from a traditional spot-up player is his feel. Mariles-Jara can put the ball on the floor, create in space and generally plays under control rather than forcing offense, giving him an impressive combination of production and versatility.
Lucas Shepherd | 6’4″ | 2029
Stats: 7.5 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 1.0 BPG
Shepherd is a versatile piece who can fit into a variety of lineups and situations. He brings a well-rounded skill set and, just as importantly, the basketball IQ to understand where he fits within the flow of a game. Shepherd does not need a high volume of touches to contribute, providing value through his activity, versatility and willingness to make the right play. That plug-and-play quality makes him a useful prospect to continue tracking.
Major Smith | 6’3″ | 2029
King of the Court
Stats: 10.5 PPG, 8.5 RPG, 5.0 APG, 1.5 SPG
Smith earned King of the Court honors with an all-around game built around feel, versatility and playmaking. He is a willing passer who plays with pace and tempo while showing excellent awareness of what is developing around him. Smith’s court vision allows him to create for teammates, while his ability to contribute as a scorer and rebounder gives him multiple avenues to impact the game. His combination of size, feel and versatility makes him an intriguing young guard.
Tariq Johnson | 5’10” | 2029
Stats: 26.3 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 2.0 APG, 2.3 SPG
Johnson was one of the most dynamic offensive performers at the camp, averaging 26.3 points while consistently creating problems with the ball in his hands. He plays with confidence as a lead guard and has a scorer’s mentality, but also understands how to change speeds, get defenders off balance and create advantages off the dribble. Once Johnson gets into the painted area, he has the vision to recognize help and create opportunities for teammates. His combination of scoring, playmaking instincts, competitiveness and feel stood out throughout the weekend.
