The 3Stripes Gold & Jr. 3SSB Girls West event in Ladera Ranch, California featured strong performances across the high school and Jr. divisions, with programs from California, Texas, Arizona, Alaska, Utah and Hawaii making major impressions throughout the weekend. From 17U down through the Jr. 3SSB divisions, the event showcased a deep group of young talent across the West Coast girls basketball scene.

Shaw was one of the most complete guards at the event, leading 7Days Gold to the 17U Stripes Gold championship in Ladera Ranch. She scored it at all three levels, created shots off the catch and off the dribble, and controlled the game with poise when defenses pressured her. Shaw also made a major impact defensively, using her length and quick hands to force turnovers and turn stops into transition chances. Her production, pace and two-way impact made her a clear MVP selection.

Her balance of scoring, playmaking and defensive activity made her one of the most valuable guards in the division.

Her playmaking, defensive energy and overall impact made her a strong MVP selection.

Giometti’s scoring, confidence and impact in winning moments made her the MVP of the division.
