The spring season tipped off in style as 3SSB Boys Stop I East rolled into Bryan, TX, bringing with it elite talent, high-level matchups, and electric performances. From top-ranked prospects to emerging names on the rise, the opening stop of the adidas 3SSB Circuit proved once again why it’s one of the premier stages for the best of the best.
adidas continues to elevate the 3SSB experience from top to bottom—on and off the court. This event was no exception, showcasing a perfect mix of explosive athleticism, high-IQ playmaking, and elite shot-making.
Among the headliners, Derron Rippey Jr. (New Heights) turned heads with his elite athleticism and disruptive two-way play, setting the tone on both ends of the floor. Taylen Kinney (Wilcat Select) played lockdown defense in high-stakes matchups, and led his team to an undefeated weekend. Caleb Holt (Game Elite) and Anthony Thompson (Indiana Elite) lived up to their five-star billing with dominant, all-around performances that reaffirmed their national status. In the paint, Davion Adkins (Southern Assault) and Cody Peck (Garner Road) anchored their teams with toughness, rim protection, and physical finishes around the basket.
The guard play throughout the event was exceptional. Kevin Savage III (Game Elite) and Luke Ertel (Indiana Elite) stood out with their pace, creativity, and shot-making ability, consistently making plays under pressure.
The younger divisions delivered as well. In the 2028 class, names like Ean Hayes (TN Impact), Joey Jakstys (Breakaway Basketball), Cornelius Williams (Wildcat Select), and Josiah Rose (99 OVR) showed poise, skill, and upside that firmly placed them on the national radar.
Class of 2027 featured several high-level performances. Jordan Page and RJ Moore dominated the backcourt for Garner Road, while Kmajay Jenkins, a 6’7” wing for Atlanta Celtics, exploded for 34 points and 13 rebounds to close out the weekend. Teammate AJ Williams, a dynamic 6’0” guard, also made his presence felt with clutch play and high-level feel.
Wings like Bo Ogden (ASAK) and Adam Oumiddoch (Wildcat Select) displayed two-way versatility and polished scoring skillsets, while 7-footer Ty Lewis (Phenom United) impressed with his emerging footwork, mobility, and interior presence.
With national scouts and media outlets in attendance, the first stop of the 3SSB Circuit delivered marquee performances, high-level matchups, and defining moments that will shape the recruiting landscape this spring.
Stay tuned for continued coverage, updates, and in-depth breakdowns as the 3SSB Circuit continues to shine a spotlight on the next wave of elite talent.
